- Air regularly: Give your cushions, throws and bed covers a gentle shake and air them out occasionally to maintain freshness between washes.
- Avoid prolonged direct sun: While linen is tough, long-term exposure to strong sunlight can fade colours over time, so dry in the shade where possible.
- Handle spills promptly: Blot liquids with a clean, dry cloth straight away. For spot cleaning, use cool water and a mild soap before laundering.

Inserts
All filled Thread Haus Co. cushions are paired with a premium feather inserts, selected for its softness, support and beautifully full finish.
For a more structured, plump look we recommend choosing an insert one size larger than your cushion cover. This option is available across our standard cushion sizes: 40×60 cm, 50×50 cm and 60×60 cm.
For reference:
- 55×55 cm feather insert suits a 50×50 cm cushion cover
- 45×65 cm feather insert suits a 40×60 cm cushion cover
- 65×65 cm feather insert suits a 60×60 cm cushion cover
Why we use feather inserts.
Fluffing
To achieve the relaxed yet sculpted look seen across our imagery, we recommend fluffing your cushions using the following method:
- Hold your cushion in the air, gripping each side with both hands.
- Gently compress the cushion from opposite sides to redistribute the feather fill.
- Rotate and repeat to ensure even loft throughout.
- Once styled on your sofa or bed, finish with a soft press at the top centre to create a natural, tailored shape.
Regular fluffing will help maintain volume and extend the life of your insert.
